Catalysts for Science Policy is an organization composed of graduate students and postdocs. We aim to provide career development opportunities for early career scientists interested in science policy, as well as organize educational and networking events. This fall, our biggest event is "Science Policy 101: Tackling Barriers Between Science and Government."
This is a day long event on Monday, October 29th from 8:00AM - 5:00PM in Tripp Commons in the Memorial Union. The event includes several panels and workshops, and culminates with a keynote session headed by WI Secretary of State Doug La Follette. We are asking people to register for the sessions they are interested in ahead of time because refreshments will be provided and a head count is helpful. The registration form can be found here.
