At the winter 2023 commencement, hundreds of graduates earned degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Among them was Madisson Delebeck, an art and biochemistry double major who was spotlighted as a “notable grad” in a campus news story for her unusual pairing of academic interests.
“I want to show people that they don’t have to settle for one field of study, even if their goals are across multiple, incredibly different, fields,” says Delebeck, of Antigo, Wisconsin.
Post-graduation, Delebeck will be working in a lab for Eurofins Scientific Inc. in Madison, according to the story. But, Delebeck notes, the arts will remain a constant — she paints almost every day.
