Harry Steenbock (1886-1967) was a distinguished Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His interests and contributions spanned many areas of nutrition and biochemistry. One of his outstanding achievements was the discovery of the irradiation process for producing vitamin D.
