SYGL-1 (pink) and LST-1 (orange) proteins are expressed in the germline stem cell pool at the distal tip of the C. elegans gonad. These key stem cell regulators link GLP-1/Notch signaling from the niche with the downstream RNA regulatory network that controls stem cell self-renewal and differentiation.
Powerful in Vivo Studies Allow Researchers to Glimpse Biological Processes 'Within the Living'
Laurens “Andy” Anderson, emeritus professor of biochemistry, and another researcher study large-scale diagrams of sugars.
