I am currently a sophomore majoring in biochemistry and am considering a double major in a related field. I plan on attending graduate school immediately after I finish my undergraduate studies. My tentative career plan is to conduct pharmaceutical research and drug development in the private sector or for a government organization.

I joined the Craig Lab in September 2014 through the Biochemistry Scholars Program. Currently, I am working with See-Yeun on studying interactions between proteins in the mitochondrial protein import motor, specifically between Pam16 and Tim44. I have previously worked in the lab of Dr. Martin Zanni of the UW Chemistry Department and used 2D IR spectroscopy to study subunit exchange in alpha-crystallin.
