Adam is an undergraduate researcher who is majoring in Biochemistry. He was accepted into the Biochemistry Scholars program his sophomore year and has been working in Dr. Craig's Lab since.  Adam is looking to pursue a career in medical research.  In addition to the Craig lab, Adam has conducted research in both Dr. William Kerr's Lab at SUNY Upstate and in Dr. Alexander's lab at the University of Wisconsin. While working under Dr. Kerr, Adam studied Ship-1 and its effects on childhood leukemia. While with Dr. Alexander, Adam studied Syndecan-1 and its role in adipose differentiation. In Dr. Craig's lab, Adam has been working with Tom studying cytosolic Hsp40 chaperones. More specifically they are looking into interactions between Sis1, Btn2 and Cur1.
