Q. What are the costs of the Khorana Program?

Q. Where do I turn in my application?

Applications should be turned in over email or in hard copy to the Khorana administrator at your university.  All questions should be addressed to this administrator.

Q. Do I need international health insurance to travel to India?

International health insurance is required for participation in the Khorana Program.  Health insurance is available through your home university.  Talk to your Khorana Administrator about the health insurance details.

Q. What if I don't have a passport?

Look into securing a passport soon!

Q. What do I need to do to obtain a visa to travel to India?

The Khorana Program administrator at your university will provide you with all the information you need to obtain a visa.

Q. What are the opportunities that the Khorana Program will provide?

The Khorana Program will provide you with an opportunity to spend 10-12 weeks during the summer to pursue scientific research in India.  Opportunities are available in the general sciences, medicine, agriculture, public health, and engineering.  The Khorana Program has contacts at many institutions in India, and our staff will help match you with a mentor at an Indian institution who shares your research interests.  View a list of institutions in India.
