Routing Guidelines

The Wisconsin Proposal Electronic Routing (WISPER) system is a electronic routing form for applications and agreements. WISPER is a web-enabled award set-up form that can:

  • create, route, and sign forms electronically
  • share attachments and documents
  • request and respond to document related approvals
  • monitor negotiation and award set-up progress
  • collect award data for posting to the Shared Financial System

  • WISPER 101 - This session is for those wishing to learn the basics of WISPER, the electronic routing system for extramural applications and agreements on the UW campus. This introductory session will highlight basic navigation, how to create and route documents on campus, and how to use the worklist functions of WISPER. [Powerpoint]
