Pre-Award
The Pre-Award Process consists of many important steps, but first and foremost of creating an internal budget. Once you have completed your draft budget it will need to be reviewed by one of our departmental Financial Services Members. If approved, the budget will then need to be sent via WISPER to the Dean’s Office for approval and then the process moves on from there.
Please contact the Biochemistry pre-award team as soon as you decide to submit a grant. They will assist you in developing a budget and the WISPER record and submission process. They will also help you obtain the necessary clearances, reviews and university approvals. Finally, they will help you submit your proposal correctly and on-time.
Remaining Parts of the Proposal
- Complete the technical portion of the proposal and any required forms for that specific solicitation.
- These items could include, cover sheet/face page, Subcontract approvals, abstract, etc.
