Mizar Tilt Light Sheet Demo November 12th – November 15th

The Biochemistry Optical Core is hosting a seminar and demoing the Tilt light sheet imaging system this November.  We are extending an invitation to the UW research community to accurately access the capabilities of the system and provide feedback on the instrument configuration.  See details below for demo dates and signup instructions.  Chris Baumann, PhD will also give a seminar on Monday November 12th at 2pm in room 175 of the HF Deluca Biochemistry Laboratories.  He will be focusing on the benefits of light sheet imaging and will offer practical advice on sample preparation and the capabilities of the Mizar Tilt System.

Equipment Specifications:

-       High resolution light sheet imaging on inverted platform (405, 488, 561, 640nm excitation) 

-       Gentle and fast live cell imaging

-       Adds on to a standard inverted platform 

-       Mizar website
