Dr. Zachary Sun is the CEO and Co-founder of Synvitrobio, Inc., a startup company working with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory to commercialize cell-free prototyping technologies. He will be discussing Synvitrobio's work with coupled transcription-translation cell-free systems as a simplified platform for engineering biological pathways and for biodiscovery of novel chemicals and therapeutics.

Synvitrobio is supported by DARPA, NSF, NIH, and DoE/Cyclotron Road.
