How does research get funded?

Catalysts for Science Policy is hosting a career development event about the ins and outs of Research Administration. This event will host several of UW-Madison's administrators who will discuss their career paths and how what they do impacts each and every one of us as researchers. The overarching theme of Research Administration is that they mediate the interactions between PIs, departments, and funding agencies like NSF and NIH. They will also discuss how the recent UW budget changes will affect their jobs and how that trickles down to us. Hope to see you there!
