Catalysts for Science Policy is an organization composed of graduate students and postdocs. We aim to provide career development opportunities for early career scientists interested in science policy, as well as organize educational and networking events. This fall, our biggest event is "Science Policy 101: Tackling Barriers Between Science and Government."
On October 23 the SFLC will be hosting our second lunch symposia panel. This lunch will be focused on how to go about getting an industrial internship. Internships provide students with the opportunity to explore a new area of research and see if a career outside of academia is right for them.
